Worship

Serving and worshiping Christ is a life-long blessing. Join us at Union Christian Church and let us be part of your family in Christ. We shoulder each other’s burdens and celebrate each other’s joys with God’s strength and unconditional love!

Our worship service follows our Sunday school classes. The service leans toward a traditional service that embraces the use of music videos that include standard hymns, contemporary music, and even a few Christian country music songs.

As a Disciples of Christ congregation, we partake in communion weekly. Christ is the host of His table and all are welcome to participate.

On June 30, 2024, Union Christian hosted a joint worship/summer picnic with sister Disciples churches in Johnson County, including Tabernacle Christian and Trafalgar Christian.

On July 28, 2024, the congregation enjoyed a Hawaiian themed worship service that was supposed to be in our outdoor shelter but due to a rainy forecast, was held in the fellowship hall. Below, the Bauman family shows their true Hawaiian colors!
