Christian Action

It is the mission of the Christian Action Ministry to foster and encourage an inclusive view of mission and ministry that serves local, regional and global communities outside of our own community of faith.

It shall be the responsibility of this Ministry to provide opportunities that help Union Christian Church reach out beyond itself in mission and ministry. This Ministry will be responsible for organizing regular local service/mission projects throughout the year and shall also be responsible for organizing annual mission trips. This Ministry will organize our own community of faith and resources in support of the needs of the local, regional, and global communities through activities, programs, and actions that focus on and include:

Lifting up the name of Jesus Christ through service, activities, and actions

Reflecting the love of Christ to all through selfless action and service

Teaching others of the work of the Church and how to be the Church

To be in constant prayer for God to work through the team for the betterment of His world
